Abstract:

In 1955 Allen Ginsberg wrote his most emblematic poem, “Howl for Carl Solomon”. This composition has been considered one of the most representative literary samples of the poet’s political discourse, due to its transcendence and popularity worldwide. Nevertheless, other poems published afterwards reveal a likewise evolving and distinct political vision that complements and enriches his paradigmatic "Howl".
